Suffolk County Council has added a contended public footpath from Hollesley Restricted Byway 5 at Ordnance Survey Grid Reference (OSGR) 63419,24566 to Hollesley Footpath 4 at OSGR 63431,24534, subject to appeal.

When Hollesley Village Hall was built in 1965 a ‘Management Committee’ (in the form of a Charitable Trust) was set up to manage the day to day running of the hall. The structure of the Committee was such that it meant it could not hold the Legal Title to the building and land so, Hollesley Parish Council was appointed as a ‘Custodian Trustee’ to the Trust, with the sole purpose of holding the Legal Title.
